TENANCY PROCESS

We have a wide range of homes on our books - from 1 bed period apartments to 4 bed modern houses.

 

Our Tenancy Arrangement process is really easy!

 

  • Find a property you like the look of, call us and we will arrange an appointment for you to view, normally during office hours in order to avoid disturbing our present tenants during the evenings.

 

  • When you decide that you would like to take the property, we will ask you for a holding payment so that we can reserve the property for you and take it off the open market. Once your tenancy is confirmed, your holding payment will be off-set against your first month’s rent - however it is non-refundable if you later change your mind or are unable to provide satisfactory references.

 

  • We will give you an application form to complete so that we can obtain references and undertake a credit check. There is an administration charge for this. Details of all fees are listed on our Tenancy Fees page.

 

  • We will also ask you to provide a copy of your passport or other photographic ID in order to prove your ‘Right to Rent’. If you are a student, we will require confirmation from your University or College that you are registered with them. Don’t worry - this is generally just a formality! When you check-in to the property we will need to see your documentation again.

 

  • We will then be able to draw up a Tenancy Agreement for you. This is normally for 6 or 12 months.

 

  • A full inventory will be provided thereby giving you (and your Landlord) peace of mind regarding the condition of the property when you move in and when you move out.
